HACC Appeals Chamber confirms Forfeiture of former regional TCC head’s family assets exceeding UAH 3.8 million

27.04.2026

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court (AC HACC) has upheld the first-instance court’s decision to recognise as unsubstantiated the assets used by the family of the former head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center (TCC & SSC).

The assets in question are valued at over UAH 3.8 million and include:

  • A residential house and land plot;

  • Two vehicles registered in the name of the official’s wife;

  • USD 20 thousand cash acquired by the spouses.

The lawsuit was initiated based on lifestyle monitoring results conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), alongside evidence gathered by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI).

During the monitoring process, the NACP established that the official and his family members acquired the aforementioned assets using cash, whereas their legitimate income was primarily spent via non-cash transactions. After analysing the family's income and expenditures, the Agency determined that the property could not have been acquired through legal means.

According to the court's ruling, the residential house, land plot, and the value of one of the vehicles (exceeding UAH 786 thousand) shall be recovered by the state budget.

The AC HACC decision enters into legal force from the moment of its pronouncement.

Previously, the AC HACC also upheld the first-instance court's decision regarding the recognition of unsubstantiated assets belonging to the family of the former head of the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Odesa Region.
