Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Vsevolod Chentsov held a working meeting with the Head of the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, Viktor Pavlushchyk, to coordinate efforts in anti-corruption policy and fulfil Ukraine's European integration commitments.
The parties discussed the status of implementation of the European Commission's recommendations on corruption prevention, preparations for subsequent stages of the negotiation process for Ukraine's EU accession, as well as the consideration and approval by Parliament of the Anti-Corruption Strategy for 2026–2030, and the drafting and adoption by the Government of the State Anti-Corruption Programme for the relevant period.
Particular attention was paid to the development of lobbying practices, including the operation of the Transparency Register, the organisation of training on the practical application of the new legislation, and the further roll-out of corresponding approaches across central executive authorities.
They discussed Ukraine's cooperation with international partners, notably the European Commission, the OECD, and GRECO, as well as strengthening Ukraine's communication with European institutions regarding the outcomes of anti-corruption reform.
