A prosecutor of the Slobozhanska District Prosecutor's Office, based in part on the results of a full verification of the declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), notified a deputy of a rural council in Dnipropetrovsk Region of suspicion of declaring false information.
Based on the results of the full verification of the declaration for 2023, the NACP established that the deputy concealed information about:

42 land plots with a total area of almost 88 hectares located in Dnipropetrovsk and Poltava Regions, 11 of which belong to him by right of ownership and 31 are in his use. Their total value exceeds UAH 2.5 million;

4 vehicles owned by him, including passenger cars, a motorcycle, and a cargo van.
In addition, the declarant indicated false information regarding the value of his own vehicles. The discrepancy in value amounts to over UAH 740 thousand.
The total amount of inaccurate information reflected by the official in the declaration is almost UAH 3.5 million.
The deputy is charged with entering knowingly false information into the annual declaration (Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by investigators of Police Division No. 4 of the Dnipro District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
Note: According to Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure provided for by law and established by a court's verdict of guilty.
