A prosecutor of the Shakhtarska District Prosecutor's Office, based in part on the results of a full verification of the declaration conducted by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP), notified a deputy of a rural council in Synelnykove District of Dnipropetrovsk Region of suspicion of declaring false information.
In particular, based on the results of the full verification of the declaration for 2024, the NACP established that the deputy failed to declare 5 leased land plots in Dnipropetrovsk Region with a total area of 40 hectares, worth over UAH 1.1 million.
In addition, he indicated income from entrepreneurial activity in the declaration that was almost UAH 8 million less than the amount actually received.
The total amount of inaccurate information reflected in the declaration exceeds UAH 9 million.
The official is charged with entering knowingly false information into the annual declaration (Part 2 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The pre-trial investigation is conducted by investigators of the Investigation Department of Police Division No. 4 of the Synelnykove District Police Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
Note: According to Part 1 of Article 62 of the Constitution of Ukraine, a person is presumed innocent of committing a crime and shall not be subjected to criminal punishment until their guilt is proven in accordance with the procedure provided for by law and established by a court's verdict of guilty.
