Companies from the NACP list of "International Sponsors of War" are now in the World-check database, used worldwide for reviewing counterparties
From now on, all companies that continue to cooperate with the aggressor and are included in the list of "International Sponsors of War", as well as those that will be added to it, are included in the World-Check database in order to protect the financial sector of all countries of the world from Russian sponsors of war.   The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) has received such an answer from the international company LSEG, the owners of Refinitiv, the operator of the World-Check database.   "Foreign companies that continue to cooperate with Russia, despite sanctions, are included now in World-check - the largest database for reviewing counterparties regarding their ties to terrorist organizations, fraud, etc. This will create significant problems for them in further support of the war because banks and insurance companies use World-check to assess risks. Therefore, those companies facing the war will be limited in their free access to personal and corporate finances," – said Oleksandr Novikov, head of the NACP.   The list of "International Sponsors of War" was developed by the NACP and posted on the "War and Sanctions" Portal. It includes international companies that provide the public and private sector with goods and services of critical purpose,  as well as contribute to the Russian budget, thereby financing terrorism.   Currently, such companies as Naspers, TMS Tankers Ltd, Minerva Marine, Thenamaris Ships Management Inc, Delta Tankers Ltd, Dynacom Tankers Management Ltd, Leroy Merlin, OpenWay Group are included in the list.
