NACP reveals unjustified assets of Poltava military commissar worth over UAH 1.8 million
The National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) found signs of acquiring unjustified assets worth more than UAH 1.8 million while monitoring the lifestyle of the deputy head of the Poltava Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TSC). It was established that in May 2023, the military officer acquired a TOYOTA RAV4 car worth almost UAH 1.5 million. In the same month, his mother purchased an apartment in Poltava for almost UAH 2 million. At the same time, the income received by her and her husband did not allow them to make such a purchase. Taking into account the materials collected during the lifestyle monitoring, the National Agency concluded that the apartment of 97.7 square meters was purchased at the expense of the military commissar. The difference between the cost of the acquired property and the family's legal income is over UAH 1.8 million.  The materials of lifestyle monitoring in relation to the official were transferred to the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) to decide whether to file a lawsuit to recognize the assets as unjustified and recover them as state revenue under Article 290 of the Civil Procedure Code of Ukraine. As a reminder, in September, while monitoring lifestyle, the NACP found signs of unjustified assets worth over UAH 4.4 million from the head of the Sambir District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support in Lviv Oblast.
