The NACP 2.0. Digital transformation - 2022: sanctions portal, training platform, digital office for authorized persons and transition to management of objectives according to OKR methodology
Digitization is a key aspect of the fight against corruption.  After all, thanks to new IT tools, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention (NACP) detects violations of anti-corruption legislation.  In particular, thanks to the "Hidden Interests" Portal, the Agency's specialists identify possible signs of a conflict of interest among officials and begin appropriate monitoring of them.
"The digital tools implemented by the NACP are not just IT products, but unique solutions designed to reduce corruption in the state sphere.  Every product we created last year is a convenient tool for independent use by officials and elected officials to prevent false declarations or conflicts of interest.  Another powerful result that we are proud of was the sanctions portal — a single database of individuals who have been or are going to be sanctioned.  This unique resource is particularly popular among diplomats and Russians who want to avoid sanctions", — said the head of the Department of Digital Transformation and Innovative Development of the NACP, Stanislav Hayder.
What are the key achievements in this direction for 2022?
  • A "War and Sanctions" Portal has been developed, where everyone can view the lists of individuals and legal entities that have been sanctioned or must be sanctioned due to their active support of the war against Ukraine.
  • The Study.NAZK educational platform was launched, where you can take free online courses on anti-corruption topics.  There are already 7 courses in the catalog.
  • A digital cabinet for compliance officers on the Anti-Corruption Portal was put into operation.  Now the authorized persons will no longer be overloaded with paper reports and will be able to automatically receive a response from the NACP experts about errors in the reports without a long wait, as was the case before.
  • The "Vision of the Future" project was implemented.  Its task is to promote the establishment of the principle of zero tolerance for corruption and the values of integrity, transparency and openness as fundamental in the reconstruction of the new Ukraine.
  • The "Conflict of Interest quiz" module has been developed, thanks to which every official can check whether he has a conflict of interest.
In addition, the NACP experts improved the form of strategic planning, and the NACP team switched to the innovative practice of goal management according to the OKR methodology - the Agency implemented an internal system for monitoring the fulfillment of goals.
