Голова Національного агентства з питань запобігання корупції (НАЗК) Олександр Новіков виступив із промовою на пленарній сесії 10-ої конференції держав-учасниць Конвенції ООН проти корупції, що триває у м. Атланта, Сполучені Штати Америки. Він закликав держави-учасниці до об’єднання зусиль задля розбудови глобальної системи доброчесності, щоб гарантувати спільну безпеку.
«Корупція проникає в саме серце урядів, підриває інститути, покликані захищати суспільство, і розмиває основи, на яких тримається демократія. Сьогодні я хочу підкреслити нерозривний зв’язок між корупцією та цими нагальними проблемами, які вимагають нашої негайної уваги. Доброчесність, яка характеризується непохитною відданістю етичним цінностям і послідовним пріоритетом суспільних інтересів над приватними вигодами в державному секторі, є основою, на якій будуються стійкі та справедливі суспільства», — зазначив очільник НАЗК.
Головна мета конференції — об’єднати всіх представників антикорупційної сфери 193 країн-учасниць цієї організації для обміну досвідом та найкращими практиками в сфері боротьби з корупцією та розбудови політики доброчесності в світі.
«Саме корупція сприяє війнам, бідності і порушенням основних прав і свобод. Україна зараз є одним з лідерів розбудови доброчесності, оскільки ми як ніхто розуміємо, наскільки корупція та захист своєї держави від ворога — це речі, які не можуть співіснувати разом. Доброчесність дорівнює ефективність, а ефективність дорівнює безпеці», — заявив Голова НАЗК.
Після свого виступу очільник НАЗК розповів представникам інших держав ООН про досвід України у розбудові ефективної антикорупційної системи: створення антикорупційних органів і розробки та впровадження Антикорупційної стратегії та покрокової програми з її виконання. Після цього він також презентував партнерам Посібник керівника з розбудови доброчесної (ефективної) організації, який був заснований на кращих практиках НАЗК.
Нагадаємо, що делегація України на чолі з Головою НАЗК Олександром Новіковим продовжує свій візит до США в межах 10-ї сесії Конференції держав - учасниць Конвенції ООН проти корупції. Конференція триватиме з 11 до 15 грудня. Вже 13 грудня, Україна в межах конференції проведе окремий захід «Ukraine Integrity Ecosystem: War and Post-War Recovery», де презентує свої найкращі практики та інструменти боротьби з корупцією та розбудови системи доброчесності.

States Parties to the UNCAC.
⇒ I extend my deepest gratitude to the United States of America for graciously
hosting this significant event, providing us with a vital platform to collectively confront
the critical and complex issue of corruption.
⇒ Corruption intricately weaves its destructive threads through the global web,
giving rise to interconnected problems such as wars, poverty, and the erosion of
fundamental freedoms and rights.
⇒ It is a force that infiltrates the very heart of governments, undermines institutions
meant to safeguard society, and erodes the foundations upon which democracy stands.
⇒ Today, I wish to underscore the indispensable connection between corruption and
these pressing issues that demand our urgent attention.
⇒ In response to the corrosive influence of corruption, BUILDING INTEGRITY
POLICY emerges not merely as an idealistic aspiration but as a pragmatic and
sustainable imperative.
⇒ INTEGRITY, is characterized by the unwavering commitment to ethical values
and the consistent prioritization of public interests over private gains within the public
sector.

to fortify INTEGRITY.

of integrity.
